Warranty covers manufacturing defects on a 1400 GSM Ducking Wet Towel within 30 days of purchase. One replacement per order — not exchanges forever.
Heads up on shedding: each Ducking Wet Towel has roughly half a million twisted loops across both sides. A handful coming loose on the first wash is normal break-in — same deal as dead pixels on a brand-new monitor. We still set the bar absurdly low: if you can count more than ~25 loose loops after a proper pre-rinse, or you see any visible bald spot in the pile, that's on us — we'll replace the towel. We'd rather be too generous than nickel-and-dime real customers.
What's not covered: normal wear, scratches or damage caused by trapped grit, improper care (fabric softener, bleach, high heat, dryer sheets, mixing with cotton loads), use on dirty or unwashed paint, abrasive chemicals, use beyond the towel's intended purpose (drying clean automotive paint, glass, and trim), or any damage to the vehicle, PPF, ceramic coating, or other surface. Proper use and care is required — see the wash care guide.
Ducking Wet Towels is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind, including (but not limited to) damage to vehicle finishes. The towel is designed and tested to be PPF and ceramic coating safe when used correctly on clean paint — but as with any drying towel, the customer is responsible for technique, surface preparation, and inspection of the towel before each use.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights that vary by state. One replacement per order. Warranty is non-transferable; valid only for the original purchaser.
Translation: if the towel itself has a real defect — significant shedding, fading, failed stitching — we cover it for 30 days (and still help out after 30, see below). What we don't cover is damage to the towel from improper care (dryer on high, fabric softener, bleach), or scratches on your car from anything — grit, technique, surface prep. The towel is only as safe as how you use it. Use it on clean paint, wash it right, and it'll last for years.
30 days is just our no-questions window. If your towel craps out months later, we still want to know — same process, same humans, same fix. You just cover the shipping. One replacement per order — not exchanges forever.
